I picked up a camera when I was twenty one. It was love at first shot!
Although it is not how I’ve made my living, photography has given the value to my living.
Prior to Neiman Marcus, I worked for thirty years in a family clothing store alongside my talented mother, Wilma. We dressed women for all of their important events.
I know we made them look and feel beautiful. However, when looking back, fashion depicts a finite time or decade. Often we are left to wonder how we ever wore our hair or dressed in a certain way.
And so, it is in the small moments that the artist in me resides…hoping that time does not stamp or discard the beauty, symbolism, humor, or pathos I have seen and felt.
This site holds a collection of my favorite photos. It is my visual poetry.
I hope you enjoy it.
